Dear Tina & Family of Keshawn:
I was saddened to learn of the violent death of Keshawn on June 21 2017 at 8:30PM. A troubled life cut short at just 33 years, sadness on top of sadness. Please accept my belated and deepest sympathy at your tragic loss.
May I share some promises from the Bible that bring comfort at this time of loss?
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life, in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). There were no “hoods” in that Garden, and nothing to fear when out at night. Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
It is a comfort and softens our feelings toward our Creator, Jehovah God, to learn that it is Satan who causes imperfection, violence and hatred, sicknesses like cancer, and death -- not God (Hebrews 2:14).
I am always happy when I remember that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a PEACEFUL, global paradise! No more wars, no more guns, no more ‘street cred,’ no more gangs, no more “turf.” One day Keshawn will be resurrected to enjoy what should have been his life in the first place—nourishment (physical, mental, spiritual), education, bright opportunities!! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Keshawn, sleep, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with Keshawn as we all apply ourselves to learning and living in flourishing PEACE as Jehovah intended.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Dear Tina and Family,
When something like this happens, it's hard to find words that are truly comforting. We can only pray that God our Father will speak words of comfort in the still, small voice that brings you peace. You're in our prayers,
Betty Simpson and Family
