I really sorry for the loss of Melissa. She will be greatly missed. In difficult time like this, there is no adequate word that can relief the pain caused us by the death of a loved one. You can find comfort from what we find in Ecclesiastes 9:5 " ... for the dead are not conscious of anything." That brings calm knowing that your loved one is not suffering. You will also find comfort to know that our loving Creator is not indifferent to our pain. In his loving kindness of heart he will soon put an end to death. This is what he promised us in Isaiah 25:8 " He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." With this promise, he also give us the hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones by means of resurrection. In Acts 24:15 we read; " There will be a resurrection..." May these promises from our loving Creator Jehovah give you comfort during your time of grief.
