Cynthia’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I’m sorry for your loss, pain and suffering. Whenever we lose a loved one in death we feel a sting and a void in our hearts, as if someone ripped part of our heart out. The pain seems like it will never go away. It will with time, or it will at least ease up. The Bible reassures us of that in 1 Corinthians 15:54,55 - “Death is swallowed up forever. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” God promises us there will be no more death. (Rev. 22:3,4). Turn to him in prayer.
