Mildred(Millie)Stein was a Gem to everyone who knew and loved her. I've known Millie for over 30 years. She was my mentor. Millie counseled me on numerous occasions before I took my wedding vowels to Mr. Berkley Summers. She was the Matron of Honor at our wedding 30 years ago. She was my friend, and my confidant. She was very elegant and a classy lady. Millie was a beautiful soul, very pretty, honest, intelligent, friendly, caring, hard worker and she truly loved her family. She was patient and a great listener. In her spare time she loved to crochet and read. She loved her Dolls! She always looked so lovely with her gorgeous jewelry and her matching clothing. My grandmother's name was Mildred and she was like a mother to me. Millie exemplified some of the same attributes as my grandmother, which enabled me to want to drawer even closer to her. Millie worked for Robert Wood Johnson for 62 years. She enjoyed talking to people and made them feel special. Millie loved my mother's chitterlings, which she used to called them wrinkles. She loved mom's collard greens to and I would take her fish periodically. Although, her physical body no longer remains with us, her spirit and precious memories will dwell forever in my heart. Millie's Legacy will live on in the countless lives she impacted. Proverbs Chapter 31, vs.10-31 talks about A Virtuous Woman, vs. 29, reminds me of Millie, many woman do noble things, but you surpass them all. To the family and friends of this phenomenal woman, you have our deepest sympathy and you're in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all.
Mr. Berkley and Mrs. Sheila Summers.

Mildred Stein was my GODMOTHER! And the best one anyone could be blessed with. She taught me so much and was so supportive of me and whatever I aimed to do! It wasn’t a complete visit to Middlesex hospital without stopping by her floor to see her sitting at her desk with a smile, cheer, and a positive attitude ALWAYS! She loves to buy me baby dolls and had a fair share of her own. She was the only person to ever call me “Shawnie!” She earned that right. And every year like clockwork I would wait by the mailbox just received one of her beautiful Christmas cards today I will go buy a card in her honor and make it yourself beautiful she was and I would do this for the rest of my Christmases! Now every godmother I try to emulate the example she made for me and if I can only be a part of the woman she was my dad will never be in vain I think she was able to bring a great Godfather Bill! The circus every year like clockwork, well now join the love of your life and you’re in my heart forever! Love, Shawna Rose Lindsey AKA SHAWNIE to my Godmother!
