Deborah was born on December 6, 1952 at Alvinton Memorial Hospital in Alvinton, Pennsylvania to Virginia Glenn. She was 67 years old. Early Tuesday morning, December 31st, 2019, God stopped by the Regency Jewish Heritage Rehabilitation Center located in Somerset, NJ where He decided Deborah had finished her course. He gently reached down, cradled her in His arms as she entered into eternal rest.
Deborah was the oldest of six children, four brothers and one sister. She was raised and educated in the Perth Amboy, NJ school district for Elementary and Middle School. The family moved to Iselin, NJ where she attended and graduated from JFK High School in Iselin, NJ. After high school graduation, Deborah furthered her education and enrolled at Middlesex Community College where she earned an Associate Degree in Business. She never stopped thirsting for knowledge therefore she enrolled at King College in Union, NJ to continue her studies.
Debra was employed by the Jewish Family Services located in Somerset, NJ. Debra loved people and especially children. Her gift of gab made her a friend to everyone that crossed her path. Conversation was her forte.
Debra began her Christian walk at a young age. She was baptized and fellowshipped at Wicker Memorial Baptist Church in Cliffwood, NJ.
Debra was predeceased in death by her brother Alvie Glenn, Grandmother, Irene Watson-Parker and Grandfather, William Watson, brother in-law Andy Valez
She leaves to cherish her memory: one son Trupre Somerset, NJ; mother, Virginia L. Glenn Iselin, NJ; four brothers: Dwight E. Glenn (Kathryn)Woodbridge, NJ, Horace C. Glenn (Marie) Rahway, NJ; Samuel E. Glenn (Sharon) Piscataway, NJ; two sisters: Zoramae I. Glenn-Valez., Maple Shade, NJ; Sakinah Glenn, Iselin, NJ; three aunts: Laura Wilson Baltimore MD, Garie Taylor Alexandria, Va.; and two special friends: Nancy Malik and Sandra FPT.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
