To Leah and the Brown Family, you have my deepest condolences is with you.
To my Longtime high school best friend and sister. You will be truly missed. We have had some good years together and created some memorable times. You have given me many years to reflect on memories we shared; love, laughter, tears, hugs, parties, raising our children together, the best Godmother to my daughter April, sister in Christ, enormous conversation over the many years, support system, ride and die traveling partner, and asset to my family. When folks would see me it would always be were is Cheryl. We were inseparable. We even had planned our retirement years and brought homes to live only 15 minutes apart from one another. This bond truly hurts. I could go on and on. However, the time you spent here on earth you have planted many treasures. Your now with your Heavenly Father Jesus. I know you are having a ball. Love so much Cheryl and will see you again on the other side. Trina Adams-Boone

Cheryl, I remember the laughter we shared working together at Essex County College (work study program) where we met in the 1977-1978 school year. You, me, and our supervisors, Betty Bunyan and Olethea Thomas (aka OT) always talking laughing and having a good time at work/school. You have joined Betty and OT in the heavens I hope you are making them laugh once again. You were always in school and/or working, and when Leah came, you were always a Mom, you were always happy and in a good mood. You loved your family, your Mom, your Sister Wendy. I will never forget you Cheryl. Rest in Jesus’ arms.

I knew Cheryl from working with her at the YMCA. What a wonderful person she was. She would make me laugh till I cried. Always so happy with a beautiful smile. Leah I remember when you used to come in to the Y. She was such a great mom always talked about you and was so proud. You were very lucky.
Cheryl would eat cheeseburgers and subs at 9 am. She said her stomach didnt have a clock. I thought it was gross lol. I remember one of the uncles would drop off his nephew and she would flirt with him so bad and ask him when he was taking her to dinner? We would all laugh so hard because he was so shy and he would get so embarrassed. I think that's why she did it :). She loved making us laugh.
I would see Cheryl at Walgreens and one time she messaged me to find out if my gym had the classes she wanted. I was so happy when she joined so I could see her more often. I was amazed by her weight loss! She worked incredibly hard at it. I would follow her daily posts and like them to encourage her progress. We planned to get together one day :(. She told me about the house she bought in Arizona. I know she had plans to move there after retirement:(. This horrible virus took her away from us as well as my father but can't take away my memories. I will miss not seeing her around. I know she I know she's watching over you Leah you were her world! May she rest in peace. I love you Cheryl

She was my very SPECIAL FB FRIEND!! We shared many posts and laughs together. I am saddened to hear that she has transitioned. Though we never physically met each other, I could tell she was a very caring person and she will be truly missed. Prayers for you and your family.

Cheryl and my mom, Emma, became friends when I was a child. Cheryl was so humorous and her laugh was even funnier. She was always a joy to be around and she really made me feel better when my Mom transitioned with her kind words and support. You two are back together again in heavenly peace! Leah and I now have two beautiful angels.
Love Always,
Chariece (Reesie)
