Obituary of Adina Edwards

Adina Edwards born in The west indies. In the island of Trinidad and tobago. To the parents of Fancis Taylor Alexander Dec, 11,1922. She was the oldest of her siblins which were Isaac,samuel, john, james ,benjamin, Emanuel,Andrina,Harold Chapman,and Louisa Augustine. In Trinidad she worked as a seamstress..and house keeping. Had her first born child Roy Chapman 2/17/38. She then married Vernon Edwards which is now also deceased. Later on met Bertie Benicourt Adina gave birth to her second child ...Michelle k Benicourt 3/11/66. With dreams of persuing nursing. She then left Trinidad in 1968..to the U.S.A. where she later on became a US citizen. Adina worked at Mount Sinai hospital in Manhattan For 25 years until she retired. Adina spent years devoting her life to Christianity and being and active member at her church loly Nazarene baptist in bronx, ny. She left nyc and then later moved to nj. Where she settled. She leaves back. 3 bothers. Isaac, samuel, benjamin. Grand children. Wayne, lester, lloyd and liz chapman. Now united with decease grandson Chazmin L Miles. Also leaving grandson Haroun Benicourt, Quamai Taylor, Malasia Taylor, and great grands as Marod Taylor, Shendell, Amber, Zion. And a host nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
