Her Mother, Ms. Louise, called me her adopted daughter and Nan claimed me as her adopted sister. Nan and I frequently talked over the phone. I would end each call with "I love you" and Nan responded with "I love you more". I want the entire family to know that I too will miss her. I send heartfelt sympathy to each of you and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Know that I am only a phone call away and that I will do whatever is within my power to help during this difficult time. May memories of the Christian life that Nan shared with so many be a comfort to you. For we know that those who labor in the Lord, labor not in vain. Rejoice in the knowledge that she has moved to her new home- the home prepared by our Lord and Savior Jesus.
Love always,
Barbara Williams, Ringgold, VA

Beautiful service for a beautiful person. I will always remember her kind spirit. I know that the family can find comfort in knowing that she is now at rest. The pain of your loss will remain but the intensity will diminish. Give yourselves the time and privilege to grieve as you remember “What a Friend You Have in Jesus”. Embrace the legacy she has left with you and be blessed!

To Janna, Shawn, Andy and the family:
I was deeply saddened to learn of Nan's death, but I find comfort in knowing that she is now at home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I will forever treasure the wonderful memories we had- the backyard barbecues, the family reunions, going out to eat after Wednesday night bible study at the old church and the television specials we encouraged each other to watch. Nan was a Godly woman, an encourager, a great friend and a wonderful neighbor.
Love you family,
Wille and Gloria Lewis
