Obituary of John Henry Parrott

John Henry Parrott was born on May 23, 1948 in Tennessee to late Henry Parrott and Rose Mae Parrott.  John Henry entered into eternal rest on Saturday August 8, 2020 in Plainfield, NJ.

John Henry was a lifelong resident of Plainfield, where he resided with his loving wife, Gail Parrott of 53 years of marriage.   From their union the late John H. Parrott Jr. was born; now father and son are together in eternal life.   John Henry served in the U.S. Army for many years and retired from JB Hunt in 2014 after 25 years of service.  John’s passion was to spend time with his family.  He also enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles (especially riding with his son).  Now they both can ride on together into the sunset.

John Henry is survived by his loving wife, Gail Parrott, daughter-in-law, Evelyn Gonzalez-Parrott, his grandchildren Jaylin and Jayson Parrott.  His mother Rose Mae Parrott, Brothers: Charlie (Mamie), Eddie, Richard and Jerry, Sisters: Rose Lee Glasco, RuthAnn Pinckey (Donald), Juanita Nash (Todd), Louise Bass-Bounds (Dana), Diane, Irene and Betty Ann; Brother-in-law: Wallace Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends which he held dearly in his heart.

Proceeded in death by his siblings: Mary Louise Lewis, Dorothy Jean Hill, William, Frank, Mary and Bernice.
