Obituary of Todis Lampley

Todis Bernard Lampley Jr. 61, completed his earthly journey on September 9, 2020 in Snellville, Georgia.

Todis was born to Lucille (Johnson) Lampley and Todis B. Lampley Sr., February  in Newark, NJ.  Todis was educated in the Newark school system, attending Chancellor Ave. and Weequahic High Schools.  He later attended Essex
County College.

He was a BIG sports fan and played basketball and baseball in his youth.  He was also an avid bowler.  Todis enjoyed people and worked in retail most of his adult life before becoming disabled.  He would be described by many as funny and someone who would give you the shirt of his back.  There is nothing he wouldn't do for a friend and those he loved. He had a love for music and signing.  He shared the spotlight in a vocal group "Three Cities".

Todis was predeceased by his parents Lucille (Johnson) Lampley and Todis B. Lampley Sr., his brothers Ronnie Hampton and Kirk Lampley. Sisters, Vivian Taylor and Rachel Lampley.

He leaves to mourn his passing his children Malika (David) Paterson, Todis B Lampley III (La'Shay) and Shavonne Sanders. Eight Grandchildren he adored, Nazaiah, Todis (tre) 4th, Aniyah, Londen, Italy, Savion, Josiah, and Savannah.  Sisters, Robin RCW Johnson Esq.
Brothers Derrick Lampley, Niece Rachel and Nephews Cornelius, Malik, Rache, Derrick Jr., and  14 Grand nieces and nephews.  Best Friend Alfonso Williams and Special friend of Nina Carter.
