Obituary of Chea Daniel Jones

Chea Daniel Jones, was born on September 7, 1977 in New Brunswick, NJ at St. Peter’s Hospital. He was raised in Plainfield, New Jersey by his parents, Belvedere and Velores Coleman alongside his younger siblings, Lauren and Shadé.  He was only 43 years young, but during his time with us, he touched many hearts.

Growing up, Chea was into baseball, swimming, action heroes and video games. As he matured, he took on the sport of fishing.  He was a graduate from South Plainfield High School and pursued a successful career in sales. Chea moved to South Jersey where he met his fiancé, Chanterai and began his career at Cherry Hill Imports in Cherry Hill, NJ where he worked for Audi as a sales representative. His customers loved him and would only allow Chea to negotiate their deals. Chea was infatuated with his job and was committed to taking care of his clients. He was respected by his peers and supervisors, who always spoke very highly of his character and passion for his job. 

Chea was a genuine, one of kind person. He developed sincere brotherhood relationships with friends. He also had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. He loved talking to people and always checked in on his family & friends whenever he could. He was someone that you could count on in your time of need, no questions asked. Even though he was battling lung cancer, he still always thought of his family’s needs before his. He will forever be in our hearts and severely missed.

He is survived by his mother, Velores Coleman, his sisters Lauren & Shade’ Coleman, his brother in law, Jawwaad Caldwell, his daughter Johnae McCall, his son Elliot Spencer, fiancé Chanterai Elmore, step-son Andrew, nephews Jaylen and Jace, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he loved dearly. His last word spoken was Halleluiah. He was met in heaven by his father Belvedere Coleman and grandparents Myrtle & Curtis Jones
