Obituary of Benjamin Little

Benjamin Little (“Little Buddy”), son of the late Dennis and Sarah Jane Little was born on April 2, 1939 in Cross Roads, North Carolina. Benjamin entered eternal life on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

Benjamin graduated from West Martin High School in Oak City, NC in 1959. Benjamin started working at an early age, he drove the school bus while attending high school. Benjamin was a member of Weeping Mary Baptist Church in Hassel, North Carolina.

On January 28, 1963, Benjamin married Leora “Lucy” Wiggins, a native of Robersonville, North Carolina. Ben and Leora moved to New Brunswick, NJ in 1963. From this union 3 children were born, Kimble, Jacqueline and Terrell Lamar Little.

Benjamin was employed with H&K Tires for over 10 years. He was later employed with L’OREAL USA as a Fork Lift operator where he retired in 2004.

Benjamin was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. Anyone who came in contact with him “loved” him because of his sweet demeanor and personality.  

Benjamin was predeceased by his parents, Dennis and Sarah Little; 2 brothers, Walter Lee Little and William Little and his loving wife Leora “Lucy” Little.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Kimble and Terrell Little (New Brunswick, NJ); a daughter, Jacqueline Little (New Brunswick, NJ); 2 brothers, David Little (Stokes, North Carolina), James Russell Little (Gold Point, North Carolina); 2 sisters, Janie Little Baker (New Brunswick, NJ), Jearlean Little (Robersonville, North Carolina); 3 granddaughters, Dejanya Leora Little (New Brunswick, NJ), Tajane Faith Little (New Brunswick, NJ), and Alexa Thai Little (Columbia, Maryland); 2 grandsons, Cameron Jamal Little (San Francisco, CA), Kaden Isiah Little (Chicago, IL) and a host of relatives and friends.
