Obituary of Yvonne Johnson

Yvonne P. Johnson of Carteret, New Jersey, passed away on March 3, 2021 at Saint Barnabas hospital.

Yvonne P. Johnson was born in Newark, NJ, to Lawrence Pittman and Gertrude Turner on July 25,1946. She was the middle of three. Yvonne P. Johnson graduated from Central High, where she met her husband of 50 years they were high school sweethearts. She worked at Clara Mass medical center for 29 years from where she retired.

Yvonne Johnson was a loving and caring mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great- grandmother. She was the heart and strength of her family; we wished we had more time together, but we will always value the time we did have together. She leaves behind her sister Roslyn Pittman, her five children Denice Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Lisa Johnson, Joann Johnson, and Joseph Johnson III, her grandchildren Alyse Johnson, Vanessa Johnson, Lianne Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Samantha Johnson and Vincent Johnson, and her great- grandchildren Thomas Lemish, Kyle Martinez, Connor Johnson-Settle, Julian Bakacs, Liam Buzugbe-Johnson, and Jaden Bakacs.

Yvonne Johnson will be rejoining her husband Joseph Johnson her brother Lawrence Pittman, her sisters in-law Barbra Stone, Linda Thompson, Katherine Thompson (Kat), and Deborah Mollett, her son Kenneth Johnson, and her grandchildren Aaron Johnson, Christopher Johnson, and Ashley Johnson, and more family.
