First and foremost, I’m sending my condolences and love to the entire Jarrett Family.
Growing up, Minister Jarrett has always been there for all of the youth in the church. The way she treated all of us as her own grandchildren is something none of us can ever forget. Yes she was tough on us sometimes but the love was genuine. She wanted all of us to grow and reach to our full potential. She never believed that we were just church members. She always made it known that we were family no matter what.
Minister Jarrett has always been there for my family from when I was young child. From babysitting my sister & I as children to always encouraging us in God and even willing to come with my mother to my school whenever I had issue. (She always had my back)
As I continue to type this tribute, so many memories of her and how good she was to us is replaying in my mind.
Minister Jarrett has always been amazing at breaking down the word of God. If I ever had any questions about the Bible or something I did not understand, my mother would always encourage me to reach out to Minister Jarret. Her ministry has been so strong and impactful in many peoples’ lives. God used her to help me give my first exhortation at the young age of fifteen years old. She gave my family so many bibles with little notes that always made it easier to know and understand the word of God. My family will cherish them forever.
Minister Jarrett, from my memories, knew when it was time to be serious but always had a sense of humor. It was always easy to talk to her whenever I had issues & it was always a good time being around her. Lots of laughs. Lots of fun.
I’m sadden that I will never see her again in the physical flesh but I’m filled with joy that she is with the Lord and away from this wicked world. She has left an impeccable legacy that will live on for generations.
To the family, I pray you continue in that legacy. I know it’s hard when you miss a loved one especially such a powerful, loving woman of God, someone that gave you comfort and love. Please find comfort that she is with the Lord. She wouldn’t want you to be sad but to make sure that you’re able to see her again in Heaven. Thank you for sharing her with us.
