What can I say about my Grandmother- “Grammz”, My girl. Every character that defines a lady she was. Small in stature but mighty in style, grace, beauty, and strength.
My Grandmother was that type of grandmother that is described in books; always there, loving, beautiful, and spoiled us rotten. We received birthday cards every birthday for us and each of our children, Christmas cards, Easter baskets, Valentine’s Day gifts, love notes… anything you can think of even as adults. My heart breaks each day knowing that she is gone from this Earth.
She embodied style and grace and I don't another person who’s served the Lord for their entire life.
Grammz, you were my whole heart. To the world you were our Grandmother but to us you were the world.

Tidbits from the Past
The peas and carrots Mommy made us eat,
Were not considered to be a treat.
But we needed our vegetables to grow strong,
She wanted the best for us all along.
Frowningly, we lined up for Father John's medicine,
Mommy standing there holding a spoon.
If we took a dose at eight,
The unpleasant taste lasted until noon.
But one thing was thoughtful of her, quite dandy,
To chase the medicine, Mommy gave us candy.
She took us to church every Sunday,
Whether it was December, April or July,
You must respect God's house.
No talking, no laughing, no playing,
Or she'd give you the evil eye.
No, we could never outwit her.
That was a fact.
She had eyes in the back of her head.
Did you know that?
We sometimes wondered why we couldn't do
What other kids could.
But now that we're grown,
We know that it was for our good.
So Mommy, these are some memories that we want to share,
Of your wisdom, love, guidance and maternal care.

Grace and peace to you and your extended families. Please accept condolences from my family on the loss of your beloved mother, Miss Moses.
I met your mother through my friendship with Karen when I lived in Newark. I did not know your mom very well, but I would see her from time to time when she visited Karen, and at a barbeque once or twice.
Even so, I could see that Miss Moses was a lovely and energetic woman. She was blessed to have such loving children. Please cherish the memories of your Queen, an Elegant woman who is now your Angel, who leaves a Radiant Legacy of love, as the Essential Nurturer and matriarch of your family, a beautiful woman who has now gained her crown and wings with the promise of Eternal life.

My condolences to the love ones. Mother Evan’s was lovely, strong, beautiful woman. You knew when she came in the room, she was a fashionista for the lord. Her dress suits, hats, and shoes down to color choices were sharp. Her smile and kind words fill up the room. It was a honor to meet her. Sending our prays and love.
